Abigail Buckley

Abigail is a visual artist based in Hamilton, New Jersey. She received her Bachelor's in Fine Arts with Summa Cum Laude Honors in 2025. She often works with oil pastel, watercolor, colored pencil, and mural arts, but also has experience in printmaking, photography, ceramics, and digital Adobe platforms. She has experience from her time as a Senior Art Gallery Assistant at The College of New Jersey, in exhibition installation/de-installation, including creating dowels, shelving, and projector holders out of wood, to hang art. Extending to art handling, gallery maintenance and upkeep, technical problem-solving, gallery workshops, receptions, artist talks, and gallery promotion and marketing through running social media accounts. Abigail also has a strong background from working as a Printmaking and Ceramics Technician, where she managed the cleanliness of each studio, along with safety and handling of all equipment such as exposure units, screen stretchers, kilns, and pottery wheels. She participated in an artist collaboration in the summer of 2024, alongside Elizabeth Mackie. where she worked in paper-making, stop-motion animation, and installation. Abigail has been in 3 recent exhibitions at The College of New Jersey, including the 2024 Faculty Biennial Exhibition, where work from the summer collaboration with Mackie was exhibited, her 2024 Solo Exhibition, "The Journey of Life," and a Group Exhibition, "Pink Moon," in 2025.
